I have the roller, but I wanted something I could take anywhere and this thing is not only makes it super-portable, it's well-made. Really like this item, very happy I got it!
I've been running around and haven't played with these very much but the little I have, they are very nice!
I'm an autistic NHS manager and just love using my ONO products at work and at home. I've got the ONO Slider, ONO Roller and ONO Scroller.
First of all, the quality is unbelievable - I've tried cheaper alternatives and came back to ONO.
Secondly, they have nailed the 'fidgetability' factor. The haptic feedback and tactile sensation of the Slider is my favourite, but all of them feel so good to use.
What I really like is that you can use them with focus and intent, which really helps regulation and de-compression. But I can also find that I've been mindlessly using them while hyperfocused on a task.
A final word about customer service... Royal Mail delivered one of my toys somewhere other than my house and it was unrecoverable. ONO (thank you, Emmanuel) sent another one and showed wonderful empathy and compassion about the stress of the lost item.
Customer for life!
All the ONO products come in some type of a nice case, these come in a plastic container to fit the globes. You can purchase aditional pouches and cases for carrying the ONO globes around with you. These are the smaller globes, so you can handle more of them at one time and experience several textures at one time. They are magnetic, so easier to keep together in the hand or on a table top.
I love these! I wanted a thing to fiddle with in meetings (I teach HS) that wouldn’t drive my coworkers nuts and also that I could do while still maintaining eye contact with the human leading the meeting. 10/10! They are quiet and have a nice heft! I was worried the silicone would acquire gunk (high schoolers not being know for the cleanliness of their desks), but I’ve had no problems there either!
this has been a life-altering purchase!! i really am happy with it; i was worried it was too expensive for me to afford, however it ended up being worth the $$ entirely!!!
I like the look of the roller. I ordered blue and it looks really good. I also like how it feels in my hands. It is a bit hard to play with for extended periods of time. I think I should have ordered the smaller one. In general, I like the roller and think it is both high quality and worth the price.
The aluminum roller is so smooth and rolling it in the palm of my hand helps to calm and relax me. The junior fits in my hand perfectly. I’m a 5’ 4” female. If you’re curious, I recommend you give it a try.
So happy these have magnets i like the sigbits for my small hands but them not being magnetic makes me anxious to play with them and lose them so im happy with these!
When I start feeling overwhelmed, this slider helps me to regulate myself. Getting rid of that nervous energy clears my head and has a calming effect on me.
I got both aluminum jade (jr size) and aluminum sapphire (full size) rollers. They're both beautiful! Very nice colors and polished look.
I love the weight of the full size roller, but unfortunately it has a sticky feel to it. There's no residue, it's just how the aluminum reacts to the warmth of my hands. The extra stickiness of the sapphire roller is due to how it was polished (If it's more matte, less sticky. If it's more shiny, more sticky). I have an exchange coming that will hopefully be less "sticky". Unfortunately, I'll have to dock one star because of that. However, someone else may like this aspect of the aluminum rollers since texture preference is subjective.
On the other hand, I'm very happy with my junior sized jade roller! It's matte in texture and not as sticky (it's a tiny bit sticky, but not enough to bother me!) It's my current favorite roller other than the acupressure roller. If they ever sold the jade aluminum in full size, I'd 100% buy it lol.
I found these fidget “tools” and thought that the design was smart. I try to consider how long something will last in the purchased I make, and was excited that they checked all my boxes of being practical, sturdy and beautiful for what they are. After pouring over reviews on this site and on amazon, I waited until the acupressure variety came back in stock because I had a feeling I would like it more, and I am glad I did! I ended up loving it and surprisingly loved the other products I ordered just as much. My hand is exactly 3” wide, so I ordered a variety to try- one of the acupressure versions, the junior size aluminum ruler, the full size aluminum roller, and the signets. Based on reviews, I thought I would like the junior size rollers the most, but I found that I like the junior size and the full size for different reasons. One of the things I don’t think they take into account on suggesting size is the length of the palm and fingers. I have fairly long fingers for the width of my palm. And I find the junior roller works really nice because I can use every part of my hand to fidget with it. The full-size rollers work well in a different capacity because they have a little more weight in substance and when I am doing certain things with them like rolling them along my arm or flipping it over in my hand, it has a smoother rhythm that way. (The small one often flies out of my hand tring the same maneuvers. Lol) The full sized acupressure roller is also a better size for me. The junior would be too small to roll along the arm, as the width of spikes is less.
The signets turned out to be a fun purchase too- especially because we keep them on a metal coffee table.
In part, I bought these to cut down on other habits. I’m trying to avoid, like picking and biting my nails while watching tv, driving, and doing computer work. Thus far it’s helped me most in driving. But I’m still working on forming the habit of picking them up. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase.
The signets are a good weight for your hand, and the different textures help to soothe, especially when pressure is applied. The magnets help keep them in order while you fidget, and the included carrying case is really handy. These have helped me with bilateral stimulation during some stressful and anxious times.
Thought these were magnetic - I didn't read closely enough. Liked the material and look.
These are quiet and discreet which is exactly what I wanted. They're also a great sensory distraction when having to sit still in meetings. I was skeptical because of the price but decided to try since my job requires a lot of desk based work and meetings and I get restless easily.
I was not disappointed. These aren't overpriced, theyre expensive. The difference is theyre made with quality and end user needs inThese. They are appropriately priced based on everything they provide and the amount of design put into them. The carrying case that comes with it is also extremely good.
If youre hesitant but need something quiet to occupy your hands at work, I recommend trying these.
