These little guys are fun and mindless to play with, relaxing and nice. I will say I find myself reaching for my steel mini roller more often than the signets, but I still like them a lot!
I needed a silent fidget bc my partner is sensitive to sound and this was what I was hoping would work for me, and I love it. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be satisfying enough as it didnt seem like the most versatile fidget, but my worries disappeared once I had it in hand. The steel mini has a great weight to it, and the silence of the roller is suuuuuper satisfying. I've noticed myself reaching for the roller instead of my phone, which was one thing I was really hoping for. I'm thrilled this worked out for me!
I love the weight. It is quiet but fulfills my fidget needs.
I love the bumps and the feeling of this roller. It's very therapeutic. My hands are small so it's too big for me personally but if they offered a junior version it'd be perfect.
very satisfying to play with, and discreet
This is one of my new favorites, it has quickly become a go to for meetings. Love the weight and the fact that I can twist the top or slide it.
I work in a stressful job at a public high school. I literally started a movement with these. Coworkers, teachers, and students ask to borrow them constantly and many have started getting their own set. Now my husband and his coworkers are discovering how awesome they are.
Totally silent, they have a nice texture and weight. Using a pair at a time is perfect for me and I love that I can vary the textures to keep my brain and hands occupied.
I find this fidget to be too large and not as free moving as I would like. It is truly silent so there's no satisfaction from any sort of noise either. It feels okay in my hand and could be useful for the right person.
My daughter (6 yoa, 1st grade) has ADHD and struggles to still her body to focus on school work/reading. I purchased these for use during reading/academic lessons so she could busy her hands in an acceptable way and get the sensory input she desires. She rolls one ball around and between her hands. She is able to focus on her reading or task much better when utilizing the ball.
honestly can’t describe how much I love this fidget ! The best one out there. We need more options for sliders!
When I first got this, having previously bought / tried rollers in different (metal) materials, I thought, “Meh. It’s ok.” But nothing more.
Second or third time I used it though, the thought was “Wow!”. I guess it took me a while to get used to the different sensation of it! But I’m very glad I stuck with it!
Partly I think it took a while to get used to because it feels in the hand different to what I expected from looking at pictures of it!
I can only describe it (I know this will sound odd!!) as feeling how I imagine a hand grenade would feel if it had studs on instead of lines!! Or perhaps like something made of hard fibreglass… Whereas I tend to associate “silicone” with softness - which it is in the case of the Signets. Maybe the harder feel of it compared to most silicone things (like cooking/baking utensils) could be flagged up in the product description… (Pending the invention of a tactile internet!)
The effect of the studs in the hand - my hand anyway - is subtle. There’s a sense of texture without being able to feel each stud.
The cylinders seem slightly narrower than on other rollers of the same size (to accommodate the studs I guess). For me this is a good thing!
The weight is good too in relation to the size - the size / weight combination hits a sweet spot for me. I find the rolling action with this roller particularly smooth, satisfying and calming compared to the others I have tried from Ono, so I’m very glad I have it!!
It would be great if it came in other colours or sizes…. But I gather this is one of the newer products, so maybe one day!
they are absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! literally changed my life. highly recommend!!
I love my ono roller! It actually really works and helps me in awkward /stressful situations. I don’t leave home without it. My cousin loved it too, so I gave him one.
Love it. Use it while on virtual meetings (boring) & when tv is on or just whenever. Another great tool for my adhd toolbox
I have had this now for a couple of weeks and have found myself picking it up on a regular/daily basis… Simple to use, solid and heavy (but not too heavy) feel in my hand… rollerball is VERY smooth and really satisfying to move it around…. Truly a great way to calm and focus myself…. well worth the money, a great value…
I take it everywhere, it’s super nice and very high end!
I take it with me everywhere!!
As an autistic adhd adult this has been a game changer. I got it before I had surgery and has been saving my ASSSS. Im telling you - BUY IT NOW!!!
The roller arrived with a strong chemical odor somewhere between rubber, leather and new car smell. This chemical odor was so strong it transferred to my skin every time I used it.
i'm very happy abot the ONO roller. this tool doesn't make any noise and by that doesn't add to the audible input in everyday life.
in addition, using it requires little movement and so i can use it as a therapist in sessions without distracting my clients.
They are fun, and rubber feels good. I find that 3 is the perfect amount for fidgeting and almost starts to enter into the skill toy category.
My critiques are I find myself wishing the balls were a little bit smaller and the magnets a bit stronger. I think these changes would make these one of my go to.
Also I find the “prickly” ball sorta useless as it texture makes the magnets not strong and would always be dropping it.
Otherwise fun and would recommend.
I like the that it is silent and perfect size so it discreet for work or in public.
The size is perfect, the zipper flows nice every time, and it's leather...
