We're currently hiring for an Operations & Marketing Coordinator / E-commerce Expert to help us scale ONO’s backend systems and customer experience across platforms like Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart.

Role Overview
We're hiring a versatile and detail-driven Operations & Marketing Coordinator / E-commerce Expert to play a critical support role across our operational and marketing workflows. This is an 80/20 role, with the majority of responsibilities rooted in e-commerce operations—including Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and supply chain oversight—while a smaller but important portion manages marketing coordination and execution.
This person will act as a central hub between platforms, partners, and internal teams—ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across Amazon, Walmart, and our DTC website. They should be fluent in modern tech tools and systems, and comfortable using AI-powered platforms to streamline repetitive tasks, generate insights, and reduce manual errors. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations and collaborating closely with the Marketing Director, this person will also serve as a key liaison to our Amazon agency, and external supply chain partners. Strong communication, project management, tech enablement, and cross-functional coordination are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Operational (80%)
- Act as the main point of contact with supply chain partner agency and coordinate directly with manufacturers to ensure smooth communication, accurate POs, and proactive problem-solving
- Oversee and collaborate with our supply chain partner, who is responsible for all aspects of supply chain operations—including demand forecasting, fulfillment timelines, shipment tracking, and inventory planning. While our partner executes these functions, this role ensures deadlines, quality standards, and communication benchmarks are consistently met.
- Oversee and collaborate with our Amazon partner agency, to optimize our Amazon Seller Central operations including listing setup, suppression troubleshooting, ASIN creation, and compliance issues. Monitor and manage Amazon listing compliance, including reporting infringement claims.
- Oversee ONO’s Walmart Marketplace, and collaborate with our operations/customer service team to ensure listing accuracy.
- Track and report on fulfillment and order flow across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and our 3rd party warehouse; flag exceptions and follow up until resolved.
- Work in collaboration with our customer service team to stay informed on return workflows, fulfillment exceptions, and customer issues. While this role won’t manage returns or orders directly, they will support the COO in building reporting systems, metrics, and analytics to ensure issues are visible and addressed promptly.
- Execute ad hoc operational assignments from the Director of Operations as needed.
- Proactively identify and resolve e-commerce issues before they escalate.
- Update weekly Operational reports for Amazon and Walmart platforms.
Marketing (20%)
- Work alongside our Marketing Director, to coordinate with our Amazon Marketing Agency Partners to ensure our marketing strategies and listing content are integrated and deployed across Amazon.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Content Manager to ensure listings have the most up-to-date assets.
- Assist with maintaining launch calendars across platforms, ensuring campaign assets are live and synced across marketplaces.
- Execute ad hoc marketing assignments from the Marketing Director as needed.
- Update weekly performance reports for Amazon, Walmart, and relevant marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, customer support) to ensure consistency across all touch points.
Required Tools & Platform Proficiency
Candidate must have experience with:
- Amazon Seller Central
- Shopify
- Monday.com (or other project management software)
- Slack
- Google Docs / Google Sheets
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or related field
- 3+ years in e-commerce operations, ideally with direct Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and Walmart Marketplace experience.
- Demonstrated success overseeing supply chain operations, including factory communication and 3PL management.
- Fundamental understanding of D2C marketing, best practices and strategies.
- Strong grasp of inventory planning, SKU management, and platform backend workflows.
- Detail-oriented and solution-focused—able to identify small problems before they become big ones.
- Highly organized with strong written communication across vendors and internal teams.
- Technically confident: able to handle light web admin tasks like DNS or site settings.
- Strong working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, and Shopify.
- Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and process-driven.
- Familiarity with Shopify apps, integrations, and third-party software tools
- Solid understanding of AI tools and digital ecosystems
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Fulfilrite.com (or similar 3PL system).
- Experience with Walmart Marketplace.
- Experience coordinating with external marketing agencies
- Exposure to international fulfillment or cross-border logistics.
- Background in performance marketing or paid social reporting.
- Familiarity with common compliance issues on Amazon.
- Previous experience at a small, high-growth e-commerce brand.
Compensation & Growth
Phase 1: Trial Period (0–90 days)
Hourly compensation based on experience. This phase focuses on evaluating task execution, cross-functional communication, and fit within the team 20-40 hrs/week.
Phase 2: Transition to Full-Time (Post-90 days)
Upon successful completion of the initial trial period, the role will convert to a salaried, full-time position. Baseline monthly salary will be established based on market benchmarks, scope of work, and candidate performance.
Annual Growth Incentives
Annual salary reviews tied to achieving 5–10% YoY growth in attributed channel revenue and continued performance in core metrics.
